WIFI Static IP and Password

I just purchased the Direct to Cloud WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for MQTT, I am trying to set this up on our company network with a static IP, from reading other posts with similar issues I have concluded that it it could be the special characters used in the password,25 characters, alpha , numeric, and the special characters ($ ) | @ % -
unfortunately, I cannot change our corporate wifi. I have tried setting up the device on my home network both with DHCP and Static IP without any issue (not the same password). any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?
thanks

Can you send me a private message with the password so I can take a look to see if there are any conflicts? I can test here based on that.

Also are you selecting the network SSID from the drop down list or are you manually entering it in the hidden network field?

Thank you,
Travis Elliott

I am not sure how to send a private message. cant find the option?

Just click on my name here(TravisE_NCD_Technica) and you should see a Message option.

I have sent several MSG . no response yet.
any update?

Hi,

I have tested everything and cannot replicate the issue you are seeing unfortunately.

Can you try a different network? Is the network you are connecting to showing up in the network drop down or do you have to manually enter it in the Hidden SSID field? Also is that same SSID being used for 2.4 and 5ghz band?

Thank you,
Travis

I can try creating a new network on my home network using the same password and see if that will work.
I will have to check with our IT department if there is another network I can try but since the IP is designated to a specific vlan I am not sure what option I will have.
and yes, the SSID is in the drop down and yes, it is the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5ghz band.
