Vibration sensor and micro gateway

Hi,

I’m looking to purchase a vibration sensor to go with an existing micro Azure gateway but according to the product pages:

“Vibration data is a more complex data structure and is not recommended to be used with embedded devices such as the MQTT, AWS, or Azure gateways.”

Does not recommended mean it will not work? Or is there a workaround?

Hi Charles, It means it won’t work. Instead, we recommend the Enterprise IIoT Gateway Lite:

This gateway comes with Node-RED and NCD Library preinstalled, you can use a third party libraries to send vibration sensor data to Azure.
