Hello, my client wants to use Wireless 4-20ma Transmitter Receiver MirPro Pair 4 Channel, but distance is 4-5 miles. Is possible to use this product for it? If yes what antennas should I select to cover longer distance? Thanks
Keep in mind terrain and obstructions play just as large, if not a larger part, in connectivity as actual distance.
That said I would recommend an antenna like this:
The Digi modules we use in the products are rated up to 28 miles by the manufacturer with the appropriate antennas and proper mounting.
Try to mount the antennas as high as possible to get line of site. If you do that you should have no issues.
