RS485 communication with Industrial Relay Controller 4-Channel SPDT + UXP Expansion Port

I have been trying to communication with the Industrial Relay Controller 4-Channel SPDT + UXP Expansion Port through the RS-485 Node Serial Network Communications Module SN65HVD12D. I am able to send RS-485 commands over serial but I am not able to read back any bytes. I have been trying to use E3C to read the device number and turn relays on and off but I am not receiving anything in return. Is there an ICD for the RS-485 Node Serial Network Communications Module SN65HVD12D somewhere that would help me?

No, I cannot turn the relay on or off at all. This is a picture of the RS-485 module

I am also using a beaglebone black and the SP336EEY-L chip to convert from UART to RS-485

can you share a picture of your setup ?

make sure you are using 9600 as your RS485 baudrate.
