Do the controllers keep track of relay contact closure?

Hi Mo,

No there is no lifetime counter on the board for the relays. However we have been selling relay controllers since 1995 and I can tell you that the mechanical relays we sell have an extremely low failure rate and an extremely long life. Some boards constructed back in the 1990s are still in every day operation.

Thanks for replay and I totally agree with you. I have been using your relays in our designs for 6 years now, and we never had a single failure. This is requirement from one of our customers, and I just wanted to make sure that it does not exist since I never saw it before in basestation.
