R420PL Power-up Relay timer

I was reading through the documentation for the R420PL Relay boards that we have and saw that there is a Power-up state option as well as timer options for the relay. What we are trying to do is have Relay 1 be ON on power-up, then to have it automatically turn off after 4 minutes. Is there an easy way to accomplish this or would it require some custom software?

Hi Joe,

ProXR series controllers can be configured with a power on state so a relay can be energized on power up, however that is not a way for the board to automatically turn the relay off after a period of time. This would require a command from software.
