Hello,

I need to know why alpha station does not pick up this devices. How can i program them?
Pan id, retries, delay, power level node id, destination address and the encryption key.

Also the receiver is new and not picked by alpha station (zigbee to ethernet).

Hi @cesararaujo We recommend using Node-RED for all sensor configuration moving forward. Please note that we no longer support Alpha Station.

We also recommend updating the NCD library. To do this, go to the main Node-RED menu, click on Manage palette, and search for the ncd-io library. Click the Update button and confirm.

Once the update is complete, restart the Node-RED service.

Is this as easy as alpha station?

  • No.
    Do you have a video or instructions on how to change encryption key of wireless gateways and wireless devices, along with other data we need to change?

This is way more complicated, rather then running an exe where it founded the ip of the device and port and was so easy to use.

The Alpha Station was depreciated a few years back. New sensors can be configured over the air using Node-RED without any manual intervention.

How? How do i set encryption key of sensor and receiver? how do i set al the other fields? Tell me it was deprecated, does not help… Also i need new sensors to talk with receiver configured and maintained with alpha station…

ok i am having trouble doing it with alpha station as my first post states.
How can i do what i need with red node? And why would alpha station fail detect the sensors / or the key may be wrong.

Hi @cesararaujo I will share you a flow and instructions to set the encryption key using nodered.

If Alpha Station is not detecting anything, it means the network id or eny key might be diff.

At the moment it fails to connect. Is there any firmware version i can put in the modem latest one to check that is the issue (edit found 2.6 and using it, same result)

I can view sensor data if i put zigbee in usb reader and open xctu. but with alpha station i cannot connect to modem, but before i was able to connect to modem but no readings showed.

yes please. i tested other modem and it works to see readings, not to program sensor.
