Dear, Please assist me to design and development of satellite based io mirror link as picture below,
Requirement
It is necessary to develop satellite based communication link (no any GSM network coverage to this locations) and establish robust and very reliable IO mirror.
Four digital inputs of location 1 should be mirrored on location 2 as 4 digital outputs and vice-versa.
Hughes 9502 2-Piece BGAN Inmarsat Satellite will provide internet to both location.
Please kind enough to clarify these Concerns:
1. Is it possible to use two pair of NCD Ethernet Network Contact Closure Transmitter Receiver?
2. Is it necessary to get Fixed IP address to above two points?
3. What is the refresh rate of NCD Ethernet Network Contact Closure Transmitter Receiver?
4. How much data consume for one communication attempt of NCD Ethernet Network Contact Closure Transmitter Receiver? (Because satellite based internet data charges are very expensive)
5. What will be the average communication delay for communication?
- NCD website says free dedicated server is used to make communication happen with transceiver pair. What is the availability of this server? Is it redundant?
