NCD wireless temperature sensor without USB Modem

I have bought a NCD wireless temperature and humidity sensor along with IOT edge computer. But all the resources say that a USB modem is useful to get data from the sensor.

Is there any possible way to get data from the sensor using NODE RED and iot edge computer without using the USB modem.

Any suggestions or help is highly appreciated.
