The device is plugged in but when I try to access the device via web browser. It says refused to connect. How do i correct this issue to be able to access my device?

In my firewall software it appears as offline but its plugged in and no settings have been changed

Hi,

Can you clarify what device you’re attempting to connect to?

Can you confirm that your PC is on the same subnet as the device when you attempt to connect to it over the network?

The machine im trying to connect to is the Machine Uptime Monitor … And yes they are both on the same network. We actually had it working perfectly, but after the weekend that just passed. It will no longer allow me to connect. It says refused connection.

I believe you’re trying to communicate with the Enterprise Gateway that communicates with the Machine Uptime sensor correct?

How are you connecting the Gateway to your network? Ethernet or WiFi. If Ethernet which Ethernet port on the Gateway

Does the WiFi Access Point it provides by default still show as an option on your PCs wifi network list?

Yeah the gateway is what im trying to access. Sorry.

We are connecting by WIFI and no i cant see the access point it provides.

Not a problem.

Understood, if WiFi is used to connect to the network this disables the WiFi AP that creates its own network.

The first thing I would check is that the 2.4GHz WiFi antennas are fully seated on the Gateway Antenna connectors to isolate range issues as well as checking its current power state to make sure no one simply unplugged it.

With that being the case can you connect directly to the Gateway using ETH1 on the Gateway to connect to the computer’s ethernet port. This will allow access to the Gateway using the IP address 192.168.0.1. From here you can see what the status is of the WiFi from the Dashboard on the left (Internet Status pane), or from Network > WAN > Status tab along the top.

Additionally Network > WAN > Link tab will show the Firewall Zone associated with your WiFi connection. If this is set to external then it will block all incoming requests. I would recommend either ETH0 or internal if you want to access it over the connection.

You can also try to reconfigure your WiFi network settings from Network > WAN and click edit next to your wifi connection and re-enter the network configurations for your network.

Make sure to Submit and click the red checkmark at the top after any changes to apply them.

If none of the above steps regain communications feel free to send me screenshots of your dashboard and Network > WAN > Link and Network > WAN > Status pages.
