We have several of these units in the field working well, no problems with configuring the units and sending emails, but yesterday upon adding a 3rd email address to one units outputs it would not reboot, it just showed a solid purple light, I figured this was just a problem with the single device but upon adding the same email address to another device it ran into the same problem. I have reflashed the firmware onto both devices but I would like your input as to what may be causing the issue.
Is there any way you can send a screen shot of the settings you are entering?
after removing all the email addresses from the configure it boots no problem,
4 email adresses in the power on, 4 email addresses in the input 1 close, 4 email addresses in the input 1 open, 4 email addresses in the input 2 close, 4 email addresses in the input 2 open, 3 email addresses in the input 3 close no problem, added a 4th email address to the input 3 close and it bricked again
back to 3 emails in the input 3 close, added one email to the input 3 open and it bricked
It sounds like a storage space issue possibly. Let me investigate further.
any luck? can the memory locations be shifted around in the firmware to allow more room for storing emails? I believe the chip specs say it has 4mb of memory which seems like plenty
