NCD 5500 Not Reconnecting after Unexpected Disconnect

We connect our system to the NCD 5500 using a telnet session. When our system loses connection with the NCD 5500 unexpectedly and does not shut down the telnet session properly, it is not able to reconnect without someone manually logging in to the NCD 5500 web interface. You don’t need to do anything in the interface, just logging into it makes the system re-connect.

Is there any way to configure the NCD 5000 to automate this reconnection?
