Is it possible to “daisy chain” multiple 4-Channel 4-20 mA Current Loop Receiver 16-Bit ADS1115 I2C Mini Modules? It seems like you can do 2 with the address pins.

Would you need a multiplexer?

Can you set/change the addresses in software?

Read the ADS1115 data sheet and now the example code makes sense. Wish they had a better way of setting it on board.

So there can be four modules on a bus.

Hi Mike,
ncd.io 4-20mA only supports high and low jumper settigns. it does not sup[port SCL and SDA. you can have max 2 on a bus. If you need more than two i will recommend going with a i2c mux.

I just want to confirm that you cannot jumper the ADDR pin to the SDA or SCL pins that would/could be used for the pull up resistors if you didn’t need the pull up resistors on board?

that wont be possible. in order to use SDA and SCL the address line needs to be floating but on this board its pulled low and when the address jumper is installed it goes high.
