MQ131 Ozone Gas Sensor performance

Hello,

I was wondering if there was any information available on this ozone sensor regarding how it performs in windy conditions? My school project is creating a model airplane that could hit speeds of 40mph and we are measuring air quality. The sensor will be internal to the airplane but we will likely design an air inlet for it. So my question is, ignoring other environmental concerns, can the sensor operate effectively in winds up to 40mph? If no, do you have any suggestions or other products I could look into?

Thanks!

I don’t personally have any data on it, but we’ve had customers use them on weather balloons which have the potential for much harsher conditions than what you’re describing and they worked fine.

Just remember that they require a 24hr period to heat up in order to provide the most accurate results.
