I am using the keyfob relay board for a garage door. Our client wants to use the in-car remote to open the door. Can those in-car units learn the commands from a keyfob?

It is highly unlikely. Usually you can just use the same input on the garage door motor for both systems as all that’s happening is one or the other system is closing or opening a contact closure input on the garage door motor.
