INPI2U RFID/NFC Install direction

Hi, my name is Garrod and I am new to this community.

I have just purchased the RFID/NFC (EM-18 & INPI2U) reader for Pi. The board that plugs into the I/O header on the PI doesnt appear to have a pinout. Which direction do I plug this in? I2C header facing inward or outward?

The Pi shield will will face inwards.

Thanks Bhaskar! I do notice now that it is printed P1, which I assume is “Pin1”. My bad.

a while back o wrote this code to test the RFID


Not sure if they still use the same serial port.
