Industrial IoT Wireless to Ethernet Modem SNMP Support

Hi,
I have purchased an Industrial IoT Wireless to Ethernet Modem which I am using to interface with a few Industrial IoT Temperature/Humidity sensors. I would like to be able to pull the sensor data into PRTG, which typically manages devices that use SNMP, WMI, Flow, or IPFIX. I was wondering if this modem has SNMP support, and if so, which SNMP version it uses.

Thanks!

Hi,

The Ethernet modem does not support SNMP.

Hi Travis,

What protocol does the modem use then?

Thank you!

The modem simply streams data from sensors via a TCP or UDP socket. By default it is setup for a TCP socket on port 2101. Just open a TCP socket to the modem’s IP address over port 2101 and data from sensors will begin streaming in.
