It is near impossible to spec NCD products into a design with the open ended uncertainty of “Out of Stock”. My managers would not accept that uncertainty in a production design.
A number of your “Out of Stock” items would be much better for my design, but I’m limiting myself to only in stock items so I can actually deliver a product! Exceedingly suboptimal. There’s also the substantial risk that some NCD product I’ve designed in could go out of stock. This uncertainty reduces our use of NCD products and may utlimately force us to switch to another vendor.
