How do I add nodes to existing Digimesh Network

Hi,

I received USB-MODEM and a 3 wire RTD transmitter. I can connect to the USB-MODEM via XCTU, but I cannot get it to discover the RTD Transmitter. Is there a process for adding more nodes when they are not discoverable?

Hi,

The RTD sensor goes to sleep after it transmits. For this reason it does not appear in network discovery in X-CTU.

Thanks Travis! I am following the video and hitting the reset button on the Node/RTD Sensor and it still does not show up. Is there anything else I can try with the configure button?

Also I have tried just checking the COM port for communication from the Node/RTD and nothing comes over either.

sensors do not show up in the network scan because they are sleeping.
if you are using node red. you can press reset on the sensor nad it will send a “RUN” packet and a data packet.
Make sure the sensor is powered on

Can I do the same on the com port serial monitor? I should see some packets right? For some reason I dont see anything. Should I try a recovery of the RTD node?
