Hi Bert,
Your observation is correct. We tested older firmware versions and found that the power and retries settings could not be set to “FLY.” If you attempted to adjust these settings to “FLY,” they did not take effect and remained at their default values.

These settings were only permitted in manual configuration mode.

So, just to be sure, this means that if I want to change the Power and Retries settings, I have no other choice but to:

  1. Update to Firmware 23 or higher to be able to configure Power and Retries in OTA mode.
  2. Configure the sensors manually.

Is that correct?

unfortunately that is correct.

you mentioned that you changed the power of these before shipping to client site, did you change through manual config ?

Yes, we changed the settings manually.

To avoid this kind of problem in the future, I will ask for all these sensors to be sent back to us for a firmware update.

Could you please tell me what hardware is required and the procedure for updating the firmware for this particular sensor?
