I have 2 ethernet modems. It was my understanding that these can be configured to transfer TCP traffic across the 900 MHz network. How do these two ethernet modems need to be configured such that Device A can communicate with Device B by IP address? The goal is simply cable replacement.
Hi Ben,
I think you may have misunderstood the intention of the Ethernet Modems. They are intended to receive data from wireless devices and then output that data to a software application connected over a TCP socket. We did not intend for them to be used in the manner you are describing. However, if you tell me more about your application requirements perhaps I can suggest a solution.
It should be noted that these devices will never be suitable for high data throughput, they should only be used in applications where small amounts of data such as from wireless sensor telemetry in IoT.
Thank you,
Travis Elliott
