I am having trouble getting the ethernet modem to be recognizable by the base station software. The computer is able to send and receive communication from the modem and can find the IP address, but upon clicking OK, it claims that the device identification failed. Is there any fix for this? I am also already using a network switch.
Base Station is intended to be used with Relay controllers. If this is a long range wireless Ethernet modem and you intend to communicate with long range wireless relay controller then that is possible.
If you are trying to communicate with long range wireless Enterprise Series sensors then you should be using Alpha station rather than Base Station.
I just downloaded alpha station and that fixed the problem. Thank you!
