Customized key fob

Hi,

I would like to know when using the KFX module, is it possible to use any off the shelf key fob with same frequency(418MHZ).
The key fob from NCD works well, however the shell and shape doesn’t meet my need.

Hi,

No, you must use a Linx Technologies MS Series key fob remote. The transmissions are encrypted and there is a protocol used to communicate between the fob and the receiver. You might see if www.linxtechnologies.com has any alternative fobs that would work for your application.
