Do you see any issue extending the leads of the 80 AMP CT’s using bulk wire and a solder connector?
I have a few that were cut to fit within a prior panel, but would like to re-purpose them for another metering point within the same building.
Within reason it should not be a problem. Any idea how much length you are wanting to add? What would be the total length of the wire?
They were cut down to about 3FT and we’re just looking to extend back to no more than the original 6 FT length.
