Counter meaning in Node-Red message

Hi,

I have connected a debug message on a sensor and I have 2 consecutives messages but counter changed from 80 to 84.
Is it correct to interpret that 3 messages had been sent by the sensor (or tried to send) and not received by the gateway ?

Thanks.

Hi @ew3975 the sensor automatically enters configuration mode every hour. In this mode, the sensor transmits a packet, which also increments the counter value.

I recommend updating your current NCD library so you can view the configuration mode packets in the debug window. Please ensure your Gateway has an active internet connection, and then follow these steps:

1. Go to the Node-RED main menu and click on Manage palette.
2. Locate the NCD library and check if an update button appears.
3. Click the update button.
4. Wait for the installation to complete.

Note: Once the update is complete, if you see a red triangle in the top corner of your ‘Wireless Device’ nodes, simply double-click the node and then press the ‘Done’ button; this should delete the red triangle.

Try this and share your results.
Thank you.

Hi,

I updated NCD library in version 2.2.0 but there is nothing new in the debug window…

Hi @ew3975 can you press and release the reset button on your RTD sensor and share the messages you see into debug window.
