Connecting devices

Hi everyone,
I have been building a prototype using several ncd products, including ADC cards using a MCP3428: i have three 4-channel I2C 4-20mA and one 4-channel i2c 0-10V.
Now I get (picture below) the USB to I2C Converter with Virtual COM Port FT230XS and I may need some help just to connect it to my laptop. Any advice ?

Besides, I got 2 multiplexers (picture below) and I want to know if there is a possibility to connect each other together in parallel mode ? Thus, I will be able to use both of them at the same time with ADC cards or DAC for example.

Many thanks in advance,

Michaël Cohen

It is possible to connect up to 8 multiplexers to the same I2C bus, this is accomplished using the Address jumpers on the multiplexer board.

Connect the FT230XC USB to I2C adapter to the computer via I2C. Connect it’s I2C port to the I2C in on the first multiplexer, then connect the I2C Out of that multiplexer to the I2C in of the second multiplexer(make sure jumper is install on the Address 0 pins for the second multiplexer).
