AC Current Detection Sensor to count produced units

Hello,

I want to use the AC Current Detection Sensor to calculate the number of units produced by a bagging machine. The idea is that each time a new bag is sealed, the motor advances the bag on the linear support via a belt. Consequently, the state of the current consumed by the motor changes with each bag produced.

I’d like to know
1- If this sensor is well designed for this purpose
2- What is the maximum change-of-state reading frequency for this sensor. This is important in order to know whether the sensor will react quickly enough to calculate all the bag passages. These are very fast.

Thank you

  1. what the current when the bag is sealed and what’s the current when machine is idle. the default trigger current for this device is around 2Amp. so when current is above 2amp it will increments count by 1.
  2. around 50msec
