First time purchase of the thermocouple transmitter:
Noticed that this joint broke this side says CFG should I try to get it resoldered?
Additionally some rubbing on this wire from the battery, I’m going to try to use some staking compound to keep it away I think that should work.
Apologies for that. Must have had a rough ride in shipping. That joint is for the reed switch which can be trigged with a magnet to either RST or configure the sensor. It is not required since you have RST and CFG buttons you can press manually if needed.
I noted the issue with the wire rubbing and will submit this to our engineering review for the product.
