Unable to connect to I2C Converter with Dual Serial to 16-Port Hardware I2C device using Alpha Station software

I have a I2C Converter with Dual Serial to 16-Port Hardware I2C board with a RS485 communications module that I am trying to connect to using the Alpha Station software. I have a USB to RS485 converter cable connected between my laptop and the NCD board. When I try to connect to the NCD device using the Alpha Station software, I get the following message: “Unable to communicate with modem.”

The RS485 module has two uarts.

  1. RS485 serial port uart – the buadrate is 9600
  2. Serial Uart which connects to the I2C converter , baudrate 57600

Thank you. I was using 115200. 9600 allowed me to connect.
