Supply voltage for Fusion relay controller

We have several Fusion boards in various locations. One of them, which is used only for digital I/O (the relay is unused) we just discovered has been running for at least a year from a 24VDC supply rather than 12VDC. Is that acceptable / normal or have we just been lucky? I suppose if we were to activate the relay it would be damaged? Serial# 93618179 Firmware 4.0.10.
Thanks in advance …

The recommended supply voltage is 9-14.5VDC. Honestly I’m very surprised the device is not damaged. The relay coil’s are not rated for that voltage and it would be a huge strain on the on board voltage regulators.
