Hello I have the MirCR8x_kit and i need a remote antenna to replace the one provided and It needs to be more robust than the one provided, preferably one that can bolt on somehow. If anyone knows of something like this or can tell me what criteria i need to look for in a replacement antenna i would appreciate it.

Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you on this topic, I’m not sure how it got missed. The MirCR8x uses 900MHz communications and uses a type RP-SMA connector for interface to the antenna. We do not sell any antennas outside the ones provided at the time of shipment, but this should get you on the right path for a google search to help locate an antenna for your application.
