R220HPRS windows 10 microsoft access

I am using the R220HPRS serial board with a microsoft access program and the ncd.exe command line executable. The vba code calls the command line to open/close the relay (which then triggers a door strike.) It doesn’t work in windows 10. What is the best way to use the board with microsoft access and windows 10 (active x object, another command line program, etc.)? Thanks.

Hi,

I apologize but we do not have any engineers here experienced with Microsoft Access. I can however tell you that our R220HPRS is a very simple device, you simply need to open a serial connection to the COM port for the device at a baud rate of 9600 and write simple byte commands to it to control the relays.
