Question on Receivers and MQTT Gateway

I have a upcoming project consisting of 8 sets of:

  1. MQTT gateway
  2. 4-20ma receiver
  3. pulse count receiver

The pulse counter will be within 0.5 mile line-of-sight from the gateway. However, the 4-20 receiver will be in the same external enclosure as the gateway. My questions are:

  1. Will there be an issue with the wireless communication between the 4-20ma receiver and gateway being this close in proximity?
  2. Is there a wired solution for communication between the receiver and gateway?
  3. Is there any way to consolidate the gateway with the 4-20ma receiver to minimize the footprint in the external enclosure?

Thanks for the support!

  1. remove the antenna from the 4-20mA device
  2. no
  3. yes, it can be, but MOQ has to be 25pcs, and there is custom design fees
