Profibus communication with Industrial IoT Wireless to RS485 Modem

Good afternoon

A customer of ours would like to insert a wireless temperature sensor in the rotating combustion chamber of an industrial plant we made for him.
The industrial wireless thermocouple high temperature sensor https://store.ncd.io/product/industrial-wireless-thermocouple-high-temperature-sensor/ - together with the Industrial IoT Wireless to RS485 Modem https://store.ncd.io/product/industrial-iot-wireless-rs485-modem/ - seems to be suitable for such purpose.

To understand if I can establish a direct communication with the control system of the plant, I would need to know if:

  1. the Industrial IoT Wireless to RS485 Modem allows Profibus communication with the PLC of the plant, which is a CPU 315-2 DP ( Siemens code: 6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0 / V2.6 ) with a CP 343-1 Lean communications processor ( Siemens code: 6GK7 343-1CX10-0XE0 / V3.0 )
  2. you give a setting file with .gsd extension
  3. there is the possibility to change the Profibus address of the device in the gateway

We currently have customers using our products with Siemens PLCs. We can provide the hardware layer of RS-485 communications, but we do not specifically support Profibus at this time. Please let us know if you have more questions.
