PR58-1_MQTT sensor

I have a question about the MQTT store and forward. I have a PH58-1 sensor for testing, but my question applies to all MQTT sensors you have that we might want to implement going forward. One of the main reasons we use MQTT is to not lose data when network connections are lost. The PR58-1 would connect directly to our broker over Wi-Fi. I can’t find any information on what happens when the Wi-Fi connection goes down. Does the sensor store any of the measurements and sends the data when the connection is restored like I would expect from an edge device? How much data can the sensor hold if it does?

Hi Rob,

Readings are not retained in the event of a WiFi network outage. There is not on board storage for logging the data.
