Pluggable Connectors option for Relay Shield (SKU: PR16-27_1A)

There is an option to add “Pluggable Connectors” on the order page for the 4-Channel 1-Amp SPDT Signal Relay Shield + 4 GPIO with IoT Interface (SKU: PR16-27_1A). However, the picture associated with the dropdown looks like screw terminals.

Can you clarify what the “pluggable connectors” are? And if I do not add those, does the board come with screw terminals?

Hi Jason,

The Pluggable connector you see in the picture does indeed use screw terminals. Wires terminate to a block of screw terminals and that block of screw terminals plugs into a socket on the relay board. Does that make sense?

I guess what is unclear is what ships on the board if I say I do not want pluggable connectors.

Will it just be the green screw terminals?

Hi Jason,

Yes, if you order the board without pluggable connectors then you would get the screw terminals that are soldered to the board like in the main product images.
