Got the MQTT gateway fired up and connected to the config page.
I can see my 4-20mA sensor too.

Does it not try to connect to the WiFi until all The MQTT settings are configured as well?

I can not see it in my network.

Also, how can I find which MAC address the WiFi chip is using?

Hi,

Yes, you will need to enter MQTT broker information. If it does not have a broker to connect to then it defaults to config more because there is no reason to connect to WiFi since it does not have info to connect to a broker.
