Modem or Gateway for Windows connection

Hello,

I am currently working on a soundinstallation that interprets data from a wireless gyroscope / accelerometer. I have to send the data from the wireless sensor to a computer (MacOS). I’m not sure, whether I have to buy an additional modem to the “IoT Long Range Wireless Accelerometer Gyro Magneto & Temperature Sensor” Link or whether the single part is sufficient to connect it to a computer wirelessly.

Hi Josef,

Since the sensor utilizes long range wireless which the Mac does not have built into the hardware you will need a modem. I would suggest the optional USB modem when purchasing the sensor as it is the lowest cost and simplest to use.
