Min sleep delay on temperature sensors

Hi!

I’m trying to figure out the sleep/ transmission delays on different wireless IOT sensors.
In some cases -Like the environmental sensor- the delay is automatically rounded up to 24 sec.
Is this the case in every temperature sensor or is there a sensor that have transmission interval less than the 24 seconds.
Or better yet less than 3 seconds, disregarding altogether the fact that it just uses the batteries faster.

Hi,

If you want the temperature sensor that checks in often then I would recommend this sensor:
https://store.ncd.io/product/wifi-temperature-humidity-sensor-for-mqtt/

It connects directly via WiFi, is externally powered and can report at an interval all the way down to 50 milliseconds if you wish.

If you have any other questions please let us know.

Thank you,

It would need to be totally wireless cause the sensor will be mounted on a drone.
And that is why the battery life wouldn’t be an issue, even if it lasts only for a couple of hours.

And the ability to monitor the ambient temperature live and to log the data is crucial.
We already kind of tested this with the environmental sensor, but the 24second delay is rather long.
So the 3 second delay would be okayish. But the shorter the interval the better.

@Bhaskar can you comment on the minimum report interval of this sensor:
