Is the 4-20 mA current receiver pullup resistor required for Raspberry Pi?

Hello,

Recently, I purchased the 1-Channel 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver and this I2C Shield for Raspberry Pi to read an industrial pressure sensor with a Raspberry Pi 3A+. On the receiver product page, one of the wiring diagrams says to use the on-board 4.7 K I2C pullup if the master is missing this component. Do I need to use it with this setup?

There should be two pull jumpers on the 4-20mA board. Install them.
