I2C connectors for longer cable we make

We need to make (only 3!) I2C cables probably about 12’ long between these for a new building installation. It will be in 3/4" metal conduit so an existing connector we assume can’t be pulled through the conduit.

  • MCP9600 K-Type Thermocouple I2C Mini Module
  • Ethernet to I2C Converter

We see info suggesting we can use CAT5/6 and warning us to reduce data rate, that’s ok. See:

We see products and previous posts referring to a Molex connector, but it seems to be the PCB mount side. We need a connector that we attach to each end of the CAT5/6 (or other recommended cable) - essentially the same connector you use on your cables. (Note however this would be 22 gauge wires if we use CAT5).

Thanks for your help.

This connector may work. It says it is for 24 AWG but may work for 22 AWG:

Thanks for the quick response.
Checked, we’re using CAT6 23 AWG, should be good
I take it installation is: strip wire, position on the copper connector “sled”, slide in the sled & it grips/connects the wire. Acceptable for one end done in the field.
We’ll check them out & report back for other users, thanks.
