Fusion Board Expansion and reprogramming

Hello,

We are working with a Fusion 2-Channel SSR we have both module ports filled (KFX and XBee Pro S3B). I am looking for a 3rd way to control the relay. In the project we have the capability to use GPIO as a control mechanism.

  1. Can the Fusion board relays be controlled by its GPIO port?
2.If so what sort of signal does it need?

We are also wanting to have the fusion board turn on both relays when initially powered up. Can we use the TLEE Module? or is there a way to program it into the board directly?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes, both of these are supported by the Fusion board. Ideally, you can find all resources on the Fusion product page in the “Resources” tab.

  1. Please reference the “Fusion Reactor Quick Start Guide” for GPIO control of relays. The inputs are TTL/CMOS compatible (0 to 5VDC ONLY).
  2. I believe this may be supported without the TLEE module, but it’s been a while, so I am not 100% certain. Best way to find out is to do this using Base Station software (https://ncd.io/start). If the option is available, it should work fine. If not, the TLEE will be required.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
    Thanks,
    Ryan
