Fusion Board- Accessing from the internet

I need to access a fusion controller from the internet via static IP address. I know that the Fusion controller needs to stay set to DHCP. How can I forward a request from the static IP to the local IP address?

The network interfaces on the Fusion series should support static IP addresses out of the box. If you’re using a Web-i it should be an option on the configuration screen of the web interface. For added reliability I would recommend setting a static IP address on the router outside of the DHCP range of the router.

You would need to set up port forwarding on your router so that when a request comes in from outside of the network the router knows to let the request through and where to send it.
