External Power Supply for 4-Channel I2C 4-20mA Current Receiver with I2C Interface

We purchased the 12V, 1.25 A power supply for our 4-Channel I2C 4-20mA Current Receiver with I2C Interface board).

Before plugging it in, we wanted to verify that:

*The 12V, 1.25A power supply is indeed the correct power supply.

*That it would power two 4-20mA circuits for reading (we are reading two pressure sensors that transmit pressure via 4-20mA).

Thanks!

yes, 12V is a correct power supply.
the power supply will power up the on board electronics, it wont power up the sensors. you will need a separate power supply for that.

thanks

Bhaskar, is 12v the absolut maximum?
Industry standard is 9-24 v but i cant find it in the specs. Thanks

I believe the on-board power regulator can handle around 30V Max, but we typically stock 12V supplies and do all of our design and testing around these supplies. Bhaskar is traveling right now, so there may be delays in his responses.
Thanks,
Ryan
