Changing power source on a PR52-33M

I am using a Wireless Particulate Matter sensor Air Quality / Temperature / Humidity (PR52-33M)
I have sensors installed across the country. When the batteries die it is costly to have them replaced. Is there a way for me to hardwire the sensor using 4v-12v DC? I’m thinking of just removing the batteries and using the red and black wires soldier in barrel plug and then plug in a 12v DC power supply. SEE ATTACHED White Sensor Inside.pdf (70.1 KB)

if you are planning to connect power supply directly to batteries then power supply voltage should not exceed 3.6V.

Thanks

I was planning to remove batteries completely and just use power supply

correct… but the max inout voltage can not exceed 3.6V.
