Can't connect to Megamodem via USB

I had to install the Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge driver and now see it in device manager under COM4. However when I try connecting to the Megamodem using Alpha Station Sensor View and Setup I get the message “Unable to communicate with Modem.”

Hi Gary,

Compatibility between Alpha Station and the Mega Modem is not 100%. What is your final use case? I would recommend trying out Node-Red with our ncd-red-wireless library. We have documentation on that here:

This is the preferred method of using our Enterprise Wireless sensors.

Thanks Travis, I will try Node-Red. My use case is to connect and gather data from the Wireless Predictive Maintenance Sensor V3.
