Hi, I have the 2-Channel Off-Board AC Current Monitor 100A version and assorted recommended attachments to make it work with a Raspberry Pi 2.
Before wiring it up to the main breaker of the house, I thought I’d test it inside the main house. Currently I have the clamps attached to the power strip powering some electronics (including this laptop), but I’m getting a very low reading, between 0.000 and 0.007 A, using the sample program, while the Kill-A-Watt indicates there’s around a 0.4 A current. Which still isn’t very high, but it’s a lot higher than 0.007.
Am I doing something obviously wrong?
Thanks!
